Ananda Neil
Partner – Playwright Wines & Vin des Temps Wines
Founder - Artisan Growers & Producers

Originally a native of Sonoma, Ananda has an extensive background in bringing to market highly regarded, new wineries. Accredited with the Court of Master Sommeliers since 1996, he has consulted and appeared before numerous industry, media and corporate organizations over his career to raise awareness of the emerging small batch, environmentally conscious winegrowing movement. By 2009, in recognizing a new generation of American producers that emulate the sustainable viticultural practices and non-interventionalist winemaking methods utilized in Europe, Ananda founded Artisan Growers & Producers wine company. AGP’s collective of small batch wineries emphasize sustainable farming practices within cooler appellations to optimize varietal purity and expression of terroir.
Dave Smigielski
Partner – Playwright Wines & Vin des Temps Wines
Founder - Dacalier Wine Company,  Five/Five Wines,  Ink Black Wines

A native of Michigan, Dave ventured out to the wine country of Northern California in 1997 and hasn't looked back. From living in the heart of Sonoma County, he discovered the most important thing about making wine: taste, taste, and then taste some more. In 2008 Dave leapt into the wine business feet first and formed Dacalier Wine Company with the stated mission "to make French wine with California fruit." By early 2010, Dacalier's medal winning Premiere Rosé won San Francisco's annual Pink Out Rosé Competition, beating out many big name rosés at the event. Dave then set out to create microbatch, high quality Cabernets, resulting in two exceptional Howell Mountain appellation bottlings under his Five/Five and Ink Black labels. Now in partnering on Playwright, Dave seeks to apply his experience as a vigneron to pursue the highest level of quality at the fairest price achievable.
